Pet Comments: [Buddy:] Oh, it's great to see Jessie, Larry and the kids again! As a bonus, we got to see the whole family including "grandma" and "grandpa". It's been great fun!

[Anabelle:] Okay, I wasn't too sure about leaving Daddy and going with Jessie; I've never been with her before. I have to say though that it's been pretty fun. I get tons of attention because I'm so small. Great things come in small packages!

Pet Sitter Comments: It's been great having Buddy and Anabelle with us. Anabelle just loves Buddy and treats him much like he did Scout. Scout was always the one who Buddy looked up too. Now, Buddy is the one who is looked up too. It's so cute to watch them!

Date: October 3 - 5, 2008

Pet Comments: [Anabelle:] I've made some great new friends in Flirt & Emily, as well as, Lanai, Roscoe and Molly Brown. I really like Molly Brown because she's so big and always watches where she walks so that she doesn't step on me! I appreciate that!

[Buddy:] I've had so much fun over here that I'm constantly trying to show just how much to Anabelle. However, she already knows how much fun I'm having because she too is having a ton of it herself. It's been great meeting new friends and being held by the kids all of the time ;)

Pet Sitter Comments: The fur-kids have done just great! Anabelle has had zero loose stools and Buddy had a little on Saturday but that was it. They both love to go in the truck, go for walks and rough-house out in the backyard.

Anabelle and Buddy also learned how to climb a tree! Lanai taught them.

Date: October 13 - 15, 2008

Pet Comments: [Buddy:] I was sort of not myself this trip but had fun nonetheless. I preferred most of the time to just be Jessie's shadow.

[Anabelle:] Look out, Fam! I'm baack! I had a lot of fun playing with Molly Brown and Lanai. I even got to meet Wrigley, the Golden Retriever puppy. I wasn't allowed to play with him too much though because I'm so small or at least, this is what Jessie told me. I still tried though!

Pet Sitter Comments: Buddy wasn't quite himself this trip as he was somewhat "under the weather". However, his energy level was still high, as well as, his appetite. He slept great too.

Date: October 26 - 27, 2008

Pet Comments: [Buddy:] I was happy to be picked up by Aunt Jess. I knew exactly where I was going, and I couldn't wait for her to find out that I had a bath. I of course smell wonderful! Ana thinks so too. I couldn't wait for the others to find out just how wonderful I looked. Additionally, I've had a great time trying to herd Molly Brown as she's playing. I will even try and express my affection for her but she wants nothing to do with that at all!

[Anabelle:] I smelled so wonderful when Aunt Jess picked us up! I knew that Jordie would have a great time holding me in the truck because not only do I lick her and show that I love her, but I smell great! When we got to the house, it was great to see everyone again! I keep trying to play with Molly Brown and Lanai but Aunt Jess still won't let me play with them. I know I'm a big dog! I'm just trapped in a little body!

KYPSAH: Buddy and Anabelle are doing great and are part of the family! It's funny how much respect Anabelle demands of the other, bigger dogs, and she gets it! It's great fun to watch her trying to play with them. She'll look back at me as if to say, "I can handle this and I won't get stepped on!" We don't let her though.

Date: October 28 - 29, 2008

Pet Comments: [Ana:] I'm having so much fun! I LOVE to climb the tree, sit in Roger's lap so that he has to dote on me and not his laptop, play with Molly Brown and take walks. When I'm not busy trying to play with Molly and Lanai, I can usually be found on the heels of Jessie as she walks around getting stuff done. Of course, you know that if she enters the kitchen, I will be jumping up and down causing everyone around to laugh and giggle.

[Buddy:] I've just been me. I have to say that it's fun playing with Anabelle outside or inside. Sometimes, I still try and get frisky with Molly but she still won't have anything to do with me. So, I stick with Ana. It's been fun chasing the others out in the backyard though and going for walks. I think the best part for me is when everyone is finally settling down to watch TV or something relaxing...I get to sleep and snore. They just laugh :)

Pet Sitter Comments: Buddy and Ana continue to do well and are energetic as ever. When they're not running in the backyard or playing inside, they can usually be found sleeping at Jessie's feet wherever she is sitting at the time.

Date: November 12 - 13, 2008

Pet Comments: [Ana:] I was glad to get to see everyone! I knew exactly where we were too and I let everyone know outside the front door. Jessie and everyone just laughed and laughed. They all know that I'm cute!

Thursday, I had to climb the tree again. It's sort of my thing to do when I'm visiting and playing outside. It's cool too because when I climb the tree, I'm WAY bigger than the other dogs...neener, neener, neener.

[Buddy:] I've had more fun watching Jessie come up with new dog food recipes. I keep wishing that she would drop something for me but she never does. She gives me my treats though which is cool! Any food is just fine with me!

Pet Sitter Comments: Buddy and Ana are doing great as always and definitely totally at ease with everyone and everything over here. Ana's favorite person I think is the cat! She just loves Boe, our cat. He tolerates her and lets her get close to him. I guess he thinks it's cool that there's a dog that is actually smaller than him. They like each other though.

Ana is also the lap dog around here. Anyone that will hold her, she's there. And, we all do!

Buddy is all over the place playing with Ana, chasing the other dogs and looking for morsels to fall to the ground while I'm cooking. When he's not running around, he can be found snoring at my feet. I think his favorite thing to do is wait for me to sit down somewhere so that he can claim a lap position :)

Pet Comments: [Ana:] Ah...it's such a great life and so good to be ME! I enjoy being the smallest Alpha in the bunch except for Aunt Jess doesn't let me get away with anything. I love to chase the big dogs and bark at them while they're playing fetch. It's cool to be small!

[Buddy:] I have to agree with Ana that it's fun chasing the bigger dogs save for Aunt Jess not letting me play "fun police". No one is allowed to have fun except me...hehe.

Pet Sitter Comments: The two smallest in the pack have huge presences among the others. They both try their best to claim dominance over anyone that will submit, no one does though. They're a riot to watch! They're both completely comfortable around the big dogs, puppies and the older dogs. It's great to watch them in the pack!

Date: November 15 - 16, 2008

Pet Comments: [Ana:] These last couple of days have been so much fun because we did some new things such as go to Truckee on a hiking excursion! Now, that was fun! Of course, you know I, myself, wasn't hiking; I was being carried by Roger. You've gotta see the video that Jessie took...it's hilarious!

[Buddy:] It was awesome to go on a pack hike with the family! I got to fetch sticks that were thrown for us or at least chase the dogs that were chasing the sticks ;) It was great fun. I have to say I was exhausted though on the way home. I felt the need to just...sleep.

Pet Sitter Comments: We decided on Saturday to just take all the dogs for a nice little excursion to Truckee to participate in a pack, off-leash hike. Of course, some of them were on-leash for various reasons (old, too small and one wasn't under voice command yet)...Anabella was one of them on leash (the too-small one).

When the pack got to moving fairly fast, Ana would be swooped up and carried. It was quite the scene!
